"’To read Da Vinci’s is to test you’re faith’, im not comfortable with the idea of testing my faith.. no-uhh (iling-iling)"
This is the reigning answer (if not exact, similar to the idea) i got from a number of friends whom i asked why they dont like to read Dan Brown’s novel, The Da Vinci’s Code. Well, considering the media attention received by the book for it’s alleged satanic and anti-Christ content, i cant blame my friends for having such fears.
The Da Vinci’s Code, a novel written by Dan Brown, who also authored Angels and Demons, Deception Point, and… (i forgot the other one–hehe, anyway) which also had the content and the idea of contradicting the facts we usually know as facts. The Da Vinci’s, being presented on modern, real time, and presented with learned facts (you know– the informations we got from our elementary years, art class, social studies, etc) creates an environment, a setting so close to the real world that the reader, was dragged to the point of doubting the things that was learned….
If you’ll ask me, honestly, I dont know if the book really, does create a so called effect. BWA-HAA!! its because i haven’t read the book yet! (bwaha!) My point of writing (typing if that seems appropriate) this blog entry was to really to appeal for those people with big hearts, those with a copy of Da Vinci’s, please (pleaze.. plzzz…) lend me… (pathetic isn’t it?) Honestly, i really dont know what word lies behind the cover, enough even the media’s attention –with so many happening in this country to fuzz about– was caught…
Hay… im getting tired of explaining — CAn just anyone lend me the book?!
(i know, i know… a pathetic way to end an entry… fine!:)
